The fitness component is broken up into three main categories:
1. Resistance Training (muscle development)
2. Cardiovascular (aka. cardio)
3. Mobility.
The goal is to do something for your fitness each day and not all at the beginning.
How long are the workouts?
Resistance training days = The starting point can be 30 minutes and go up to 1 hour
Cardiovascular days = The starting point can be 10 minutes and go up to 30 minutes
Mobility day = 10 - 20 minutes
Will I be hungry all the time?
No. One of the 6 Core Habits is “Eating a sufficient amount of supportive nutrients”. This will fuel your body to achieve its goals and be satiated.
What equipment do I need? / Do I need a gym membership?
You do not need a gym membership. At least 90% of members train at home. You can start with no equipment or with equipment I suggest you buy. This can be from $50 to $150.
I travel a lot is FYA still good for me?
Yes. FYA’s programs come with you. Members have trained in their hotel rooms/gyms, their relative's homes, and their offices.
Is this like Intermittent fasting? Will I need to cut carbs for 6 months?
No and No. FYA’s nutritional formula and methods are anchored in adding, not subtracting. It is not a formal “diet” either. You will develop the skills to support yourself with all nutrients.
Is FYA a weight loss program?
FYA’s main goal is not weight loss. However, if your goal is weight loss, following through with the FYA roadmap will result in that goal being achieved.
Is this something that can last a lifetime?
Yes. The program's structure and roadmap of Habit building and Mindset development centered around your nutrition and fitness are designed for sustainable change and not a quick fix. This is a reason why this process takes longer in the short term.
Sticking to instructions from others is hard, is this for me?
A beginner's mind and being coachable is a prerequisite for success in FYA. If you are ready to communicate and be coachable, this is for you.
I have tried many diets, how is this different?
If you have read everything above, you know the answer ;). The muli-angel approach FYA takes is worlds different than any diet or single-angle approach.
